This 1936 vintage ad for Johnnie Walker Scotch Whisky has a black and white art illustration of a steam carriage with lots of curious onlookers with the caption, “Mr. H—-‘s Steam Carriage of his own making, bravely setting out for Windsor. It gave up at Datchet. This in 1832.
