Description

This 1935 vintage ad for Hercules Motors Corporation of Canton, OH has a black and white photo of a crow of people waiting to board a bus with the headline, “Millions of Rides”.

Year Published: 1935
Approximate overall size – inches: 11 x 14
Grade: Excellent

Excerpt:
“In these days of higher speeds and greater loads, highway transportation demands engines that are powerful, flexible and economical. Low fares mean that costs per mile must be kept within strict limits if operators are to earn a profit.
That Hercules Engines, both gasoline and Diesel, meet these requirements, is emphasized by the fact that more than a quarter of all the buses purchased by transit companies last year were powered by Hercules. Hercules equipped more transit type coaches in 1934 than any other manufacturer.”

This is a 88 yr. old original vintage ad removed from a 1935 publication and is not a reproduction of any kind.
